We are extremely lucky to have this amazing Trailway just a short 2 mile off nearly all off road walk/run/cycle away from us (2 miles by road too).
This wonderful route stretches 14 miles from Sturminster Newton to Blandford and right out the other direction
to Spetisbury.
Whichever direction you go,this trailway leads to footpaths back home,many pubs that serve food,play parks ,outdoor gyms ,picnic areas, villages and towns, including Shillingstone Railway Project ,where you can stop off for a light lunch at their station cafe onboard their buffet coach.
The Trailway is also home to Blandfords 5k Parkrun held every Saturday at 9am. More info about this can be found by clicking the link
